2021 AMERIND Safety Poster Contest

The purpose of the 2021 AMERIND Safety Poster Contest is to promote fire safety in communities.
This is a statewide contest which students from K-8 are eligible to participate in. There will be one winner per grade category (K-3; 4-6; 7-8). Winners of the statewide contest will be awarded $150.00 and art will be submitted for another round through the national contest and a chance to win $1,000.00

FEMA Youth Preparedness Council
2-year term.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is looking for students in grades 8 through 11 interested in supporting disaster preparedness and making a difference in their communities to join the Youth Preparedness Council (YPC). During their two-year terms on the council, members will take on projects at both a local and national level and develop their leadership and project management skills.
